教育是慢的艺术。它是一个慢活儿、细活儿，不可能一蹴而就，就像练太极拳，要全神贯注、用心体会，达到一种忘我的境界，才会有教育的登峰造极。所以，耐心对一名教师非常重要。有了耐心的教师才不会误人子弟，有耐心的教师才会走进学生心里。耐心是一份涵养，是一份理解，更是一份责任。
